Favourite set of workouts?

One of my favourite set of workouts definitely have to be the first event from the Australian Crossfit Championships, 250m ocean swim

Also love any workout involving snatches, power cleans and handstands in any form.

Favourite exercise to do other than crossfit?

Outside of Crossfit I love to go and hit some golf balls at the driving range or I love to go to bunya with a weight vest and do either a walk and talk or a casual jog.

Background. What makes you, you?

I started Crossfit at quite a young age and have been doing it for a while, I’m a lighthearted person, can have some banter and can definitely nap. I also love being able to help people from all walks of life, I love to bring some energy to the gym to brighten everyones day just a little bit.

Time doing crossfit?

I’ve been doing Crossfit for 5 years now, I started in 2014 and have been competing and training ever since. In 2016 I competed at regionals in a team, 2017 I competed at the Crossfit Games in the 16-17 teenage category, 2019 I competed at the Australian Crossfit Championships held on the Gold Coast.

How you started crossfit?

I started Crossfit on the side of my main sport swimming as my strength and condition program in 2014. In 2015, I competed in my first Crossfit Games open and ever since then I was hooked, I quit swimming and started doing Crossfit everyday.

Why you kept doing cross fit – What keeps you coming back?

Honestly I ask myself this question at least once a week and I always end up with the same reasoning. I love crossfit, it’s a fun way to stay fit, doing different workouts each day also I love being strong and fit. More importantly the friends and people you meet through Crossfit whether it may be at the gym or at competitions you meet so many amazing human beings through Crossfit and create bonds with people that last forever.

How do you drink your coffee?

Depending on the weather I will either have an iced long black with a dash of almond milk (if it’s hot or summer) or an almond milk latte (if it’s a little cool or winter)
